Bay Ridge Swim Team

The Bay Ridge Swim Team is a summer recreational team established in 2000 for Bay Ridge and Annapolis Cove residents ages 5 -18.

Each year 145-160 children join the team and have fun with their friends while improving their swimming skills. Swimmers of all levels are welcome with 1 condition: swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool (25m) without stopping, touching pool bottom, hanging on lane line or side wall.

Swimmers of all ages will improve their skills, technique, and speed in each of the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. And, importantly, they'll have loads of fun while doing so! Just have your prospective swimmer ask their Marlin friends about Fun Fridays!

We compete in the GASL League(Greater Annapolis Swim League) against:

Many of our kids have swum with the Marlins for over 10 years and returned to coach - it's that much FUN! Come see for yourself!

For those who are still unsure:

 Try us out through the first week of practice. If your swimmer is happy - awesome! If you feel it's not the right time or sport for your child, we will refund your registration fee, minus a $25 processing charge (this covers non-refundable expenses incurred  e.g., swimmer insurance, etc.).
