This is a very important email that includes entries for this weekend's meet as well as information regarding championships.  Please read all the way through and email me if you have questions.

HILLSMERE

The entries for this weekend's meet are attached to this email and are also available on Swimtopia.  There were some people that hadn't RSVP'ed yet, so things (including relays) may change.  Please email me by Thursday at 5pm with issues or concerns.  Please sign up for volunteer positions and for concessions.  We are looking forward to the picture as well as to honoring our senior girls:  Zoe Benitez, Lucy Hardart, and Ginger Pickett.  Congratulations to Charlie Burke whose last home meet was last weekend!

CHAMPIONSHIPS

Championships are upon us!  The three championship meets are coming up soon!  Some background:  there are three different championships on different days at different pools (Bronze at Ulmstead, Silver at Bay Hills, Gold at Indian Landing).  Which championship you go to depends on qualifying times, and every swimmer qualifies for one.  You don't have to attend, but they are very fun!!  Your swimmers will swim against teams from across the county, and they swim against swimmers who are the same speed.  Please only register for the championship meets if you are sure that you are able to attend; we pay entries fees per event.  Volunteer information will be available after Monday the 18th.  There is a page on the Swimtopia site dedicated to championship information.  Find it here.  

ENTRY PROCEDURE:

1. Log on to your Swimtopia account.
2. Go to Schedule, click "Calendar", and click on "Bronze", "Silver", or "Gold". Pick which meet(s) you and your family will attend.
3. If you have decided not to attend the championship meet, please select "not attending" to let me know so I don't have to hound you.  
4. Select events your kid is swimming in your selected meet. Swimmers can only swim three events in the championship meet.
5. Email Megan if you have questions.
6. ENTRIES ARE DUE BY SUNDAY, JULY 17TH AT 8AM.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

After Saturday's meet, your swimmers' qualifications may change.  So please check on it on Saturday afternoon.  As denoted by all caps and the bolding, the deadline is firm and from the league.
