BRPA @ Davidsonville 2023
Good afternoon!
Please read this email in its entirety as it contains important details about our first meet!
The entries for our meet on Saturday at Davidsonville are available for viewing on Swimtopia! Go to "Schedules", then "Calendar" and click on "AWAY MEET vs. Davidsonville". You should be able to view your children's entries there. There were some people who did not RSVP; therefore, their children were not entered in the meet. If there are issues, please let me know (via email at [email protected]) by Thursday at 2pm. At that point, the meet will be "locked", and any changes can only be made by agreement from the host team. Download the Swimtopia app to your phone for results on the day of the meet. Thanks for your cooperation.
Important information regarding the meet:
- The meet starts at 8am sharp. Please arrive at the pool no later than 7:15am.
- The address for the pool is Harbor Hills Pool, 1 Carson Cove, Davidsonville, MD 21035
- Davidsonville has challenged us to color wars! Wear all the Marlin blue you've got!!
- Parking is limited at this pool so carpooling is encouraged. There will be parking attendants--please follow their instructions. Parking is not allowed on the grass and please do not block any driveways or mailboxes. Anyone who does will be subject to towing.
- Tents and canopies are allowed but they must be staked.
- The Harbor Hills community clubhouse, playground, tennis courts, marina, and beach areas are not to be accessed or used at any time during the swim meet.
- We are still in need of volunteers, especially in the tech area. This job is much easier than in years past and will only involve data entry on Swimtopia in (I'm pretty sure) an air-conditioned room. If you want information on how Swimtopia works, email me and I can send you a how-to video. Again--this job is much simpler than it used to be, but it is vital. Sign up for your REQUIRED volunteer positions on Swimtopia.
That's all (for now)! Please email me if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for your patience!
GO MARLINS!
Megan Reiter
