CHAMPIONSHIPS

Championships are upon us! The three championship meets are coming up soon! Some background: there are three different championships on different days at different pools (Bronze at Southdown on 7/17, Silver at Ulmstead on 7/20, Gold at Hillsmere on 7/21). Which championship you go to depends on qualifying times, and every swimmer qualifies for one of the meets. You don't have to attend, but they are very fun and our swimmers do very well!! Your swimmers will swim against teams from across the county, and they swim against swimmers who are the same speed. Please only register for the championship meets if you are sure that you are able to attend; we pay entries fees per event. Volunteer information will be available after Monday the 15th. ENTRY PROCEDURE:

1. Log on to your Swimtopia account.
2. Go to Schedule, click "Calendar", and click on "Bronze", "Silver", or "Gold". Pick which meet(s) you and your family will attend. Each swimmer can only swim in one meet.
3. If you have decided not to attend the championship meet, please select "not attending" to let me know so I don't have to hound you.
4. Select events your kid is swimming in your selected meet. Swimmers can only swim three events in the championship meet.
5. Email Megan if you have questions.
6. ENTRIES ARE DUE BY SUNDAY, JULY 14TH AT 8AM. NO EXCEPTIONS.

After Saturday's meets, your swimmers' qualifications may change. So please check on it on Saturday afternoon. As denoted by all caps and the bolding, the deadline is firm and from the league. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
